We recommend cleaning gutters at least twice a year. Typically the first maintenance cleaning should be performed in the Spring. The Spring timeframe is from April throughthe middle of May. When Spring rains arrive, tree seedlings become a concern with gutters draining properly. When gutters become full of debris rainwater will push the seedlings to the lowest point of the system.This will eventually result in a clogged gutter and downspout. When left unmaintained, the debris becomes heavy and begins to weaken the gutter system. Gutter spikes and support hangers get loose, gutter joints get leaky, and the wood behind the gutters gets soft and begins to deteriorate and rot.
The professionals of Optimum Window Cleaning will make sure all loose debris is removed from both flat and sloped roof areas, all rain gutters are cleaned by hand, and each clogged downspout is flushed thoroughly and checked from ground level to assure proper flow. If water is not accessible, we will use air pressure (200mph+) to check the proper flow of the gutters and downspouts. Debris will be bagged and removed from your property by us unless you specify otherwise. During the cleaning process, if we notice any concerns that we feel you may need to know about, we will speak with you, or if you are not available, we will leave a note on your door.
